Teleprompter App for iPhone That Records While You Read

Most teleprompter apps make you read into the camera and then go record somewhere else. FlowRec puts the script on screen while you record a walkthrough, keeps it out of the video, and paces it to the length of what you wrote.

How the teleprompter works

  1. On FlowRec's Home screen, turn on Teleprompter and tap Add a script. Paste or type it; the library keeps as many as you want.
  2. Record a website in WEB CAM. The script appears in a card you can drag anywhere on screen.
  3. It scrolls at reading pace automatically: FlowRec divides your word count by a natural speaking rate. Put @wpm 130 or @duration 90 at the top of a script to set the pace or the total length yourself.
  4. Stop, trim, save. The card was never part of the recording.

Why it stays out of the video

The prompter lives in a layer the screen recording can't see, so you read naturally while viewers see only the page, your camera and your taps. No tell-tale eye drift to a second device, no cropping it out later.

In Screen Cam, where you're recording other apps, the script rides inside your camera bubble instead, so you can read while you demo anything on your phone.

Questions

Does the teleprompter show in the recording?

Not in web recordings. It's a window the capture can't see. In Screen Cam the script rides in your camera bubble so you can read while recording other apps.

Can I control the scroll speed?

Yes. By default it paces to your word count. Add @wpm or @duration at the top of the script to set it, or adjust speed in Bubble Settings for Screen Cam.

Can I keep several scripts?

Yes. The script library stores as many as you need; pick the active one from Home.

Is the teleprompter free?

Yes, in the free tier. Web recordings carry a small watermark and a three-minute cap; Pro removes both.
